The Raceday Stewards granted a request from M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Its All Peachy, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

G.M. Ryan, rider of Inns Of Fear, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped a little bit left out of the stalls.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Wish This (GB), trained by Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a precautionary check in the last 100 yards.

306D Book Discounted Tickets Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards fined J.F. Levins, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared tongue strap to Nordic Passage, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Superior Council, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and the IHRB Veterinary Officer Ms. E. Costello. In his evidence, H.J. Horgan accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulations and stated his mount was responding. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency), 10.3(i)(time to respond), 10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and 10.3(f)(excessive force). Having considered his record in this regard (first offence under R.10.3(g) and second offence under R.10.3(i), 10.3(h), and 10.3(f), they suspended him for 14 racedays.

306F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Tachos, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump from his inside in the closing stages.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the 150 yard marker involving Golden Ocean (GER), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed first, Stormie Outlook, ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth, and Tachos, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, where it appeared Golden Ocean gets close to Stormie Outlook causing a chain reaction. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

306G1 Yellow Furze H'cap

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Boskill Carmel, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Jawhary (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, and Bhean Saibhre, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, where it appeared Adam Caffrey had to sit for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Thomas Dowling, trainer of L'immortale, reported to the Office of the IHRB that his charge was struck into during this race.
