The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cruisin Susan, trained by J.A.Berry, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of coming into season but was otherwise post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident involving Gekkota (FR), ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fifth, where it appeared Gekkota hit a spur on the run down the hill from the third last. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
257D Brendan Cullimore Electrical (M) Mdn HdlThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from Anthony McCann, trainer of Turn Of Abbey, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles one and two to be omitted from this race.

B.W. Harvey, rider of Walkonthebriteside, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Walkonthebriteside, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and to have coughed a few times while being examined.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ray Hackett, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Stormy Master, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ray Hackett reported that the ground was too soft for him in his last couple of runs and that he got into a rhythm today which may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
