The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

The Raceday Stewards informed Mr. K. Purcell, trainer, that a repeat performance by his charge Ballinlegane Lady who was withdrawn by the Raceday Stewards after she refused to line up could render the animal liable for suspension.
328D Rathgormack H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the downhill run to the home turn involving Drumgill, ridden by D.J Gilligan, unplaced, Cozone (GB), ridden by J. Smith, unplaced, and Zolpharine, ridden by P.K. Donovan, unplaced, where it appeared they all came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. J.R. Banahan, that K. Callaghan, rider of Old Bill Barley and P.K. Donovan, rider of Zolpharine approached the start at a canter before the flag was dropped. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K. Callaghan accepted that he may have broke into canter a fraction too soon. P.K. Donovan also accepted that he reacted to the horse inside him and broke into a canter before the flag was dropped. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found K. Callaghan and P.K. Donovan were in breach of R.208 and in considering their clean records in this regard they suspended them for one raceday.
328F Coumshingaun H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Routine Excellence, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider of General Clermont (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the forehand position down the shoulder on the approach to the final fence. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. G. Brouder stated that having used the whip behind the saddle he was in the process of putting his whip down when he felt his mount back off and he reacted by hitting him down the shoulder. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind him of his obligations under Regulation 10.
328G Clonmel Oil Chase Day Nov 7th H'cap S'chThe Raceday Stewards reviewed the fall of Maciver, ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan on the bend after the stands where he also brought down Katherine, ridden by H.E. Sexton. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Maciver slipped and fell independent of any other runners and that no further action was warranted.
P.T. Enright, rider of Warmer Days Ahead (FR), trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the horses that slipped on the bend.
G.B. Noonan, rider of The Holmeister, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that The Holmeister trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, had blood at both nostrils post race.
