241A Peter Queally Memorial M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Immelmann (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

P. Townend, rider of Immelmann (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout.

241D Victoria House Tramore (M) Beg. S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Space Tourist, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped badly left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving A Penny A Hundred (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed second, and Space Tourist, ridden by P. Townend, placed first, where it appeared it got tight for a couple of strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

241E McCarthy's Irish Bar Lexington H'cap Sch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Garde La Peche (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame on his left fore post race.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Balinaboola Steel, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Philip Fenton, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lake Chad, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Philip Fenton stated that a return to this track and a sound surface which he prefers brought about the improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

241F Heinz Pollmeier Memorial H'cap S'chase

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Katzoff, trained by J. Morrison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the fallers.

241G Irish Stall Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident coming down the hill involving Keep It Cool, ridden by Mr F. Maguire, unplaced, and Music Of Life, ridden by Mr J.H. Williamson, placed third where it appeared Keep It Cool clipped a heel and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. F. Maguire stated that the horse on his inside manoeuvered out and took his racing line while he was not clear of him. Mr J.H. Williamson stated that on rounding the bend his mount became unbalanced and shifted out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. J.H. Williamson, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays. .

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Keep It Cool, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered coming down the hill and clipped a heel.
