J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Barley Cove, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Megarry, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left when he hit the front.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Ocean Bliss, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Megarry, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and Sweet Delta Dawn (USA), ridden by D. McMonagle, placed second, where it appeared Delta Dawn met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that he had to sit for a stride when the winner drifted left but felt it was of little consequence. G.F. Carroll stated that his mount hung left in the closing stages despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G.F. Carroll had taken reasonable steps to correct his mount who had drifted and therefore took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Aisling Oscar, ridden by M.M. Monaghan, and Punta Coco, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that he lost momentum and had to move left when Aisling Oscar drifted left. M.M. Monaghan stated that his mount drifted when he applied his whip and that he straightened it immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M.M. Monaghan had made reasonable efforts to correct his mount and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
238B Plusvital Speed Gene Nursery H'capN.M. Crosse, rider of West Of Wichita, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Jakajaro, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fourth, West Of Wichita, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced and Sanshiro, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed sixth, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence N.M. Crosse stated that he was going backwards when he had to check and confirmed that his mount had hung left which he had reported at Scales. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount shifted slightly right when going through the gap and the horse on his inner hung left at the same time causing his mount to go back to its left. C.D. Hayes stated that he received a slight bump from the rear forcing his mount to shift slightly righthanded. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied with all the explanations given and therefore they took no further action.
238C Bord Na Mona Recycling H'capC.D. Hayes, rider of Hallowed Time, trained by Eoghan Joseph O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became upset in the stalls and was slowly away.
R. Whearty, rider of Big Gossey, trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up in the stalls.
W.J. Lee, rider of Running Cool (GB), trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became restless in the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages of this race involving Jon Riggens, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed first and Heavenly Power, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed second, where it appeared that both horses came together close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Heavenly Power, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount idled when he hit the front.
Joseph Anthony Murray, trainer of Mickey The Steel (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped wrong post race.
238G O'Shaughnessy Distilling Company H'capSiobhan Rutledge, rider of Bellick (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount became upset in the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving The Organiser (GB), ridden by M.W. Hassett, placed first, and Nordic Passage, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed second, where it appeared that both horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.W. O'Connor stated that his mount went left in the closing stages and at the same time the winner drifted right and slight contact was made which he barely felt at the time. He further added that he was unsure if the incident had cost him the winning of the race. M.W. Hassett stated that his mount drifted right when he applied his whip and slight contact was made with the runner up, who he felt had also drifted towards his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were not satisfied that the winner had improved its finishing position as a result of the incident so they made no alteration to the Judge's placings. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and they therefore took no further action.
238H Sheehy Motors CUPRA Apprentice H'capS.T. McCullagh, rider of Brewel Hill, trained by Peter McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right for the last furlong.
The Raceday Stewards enquired from C. Horgan rider of Rock Etoile, who was unseated in this race. C. Horgan stated that his mount stumbled independently and unseated him after the stalls opened. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
