Rachael Blackmore, rider of Champagne Mahler, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got hampered by the faller on the flat.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after the start involving Ivy Hall, ridden by P.K. Donovan, where it appeared Ivy Hall clipped a heel and came down. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
130C Regeneron (Mares) M'dn H'dleS.D. Torrens, rider of Cullagh Pride, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
130D(i) Regeneron Ireland H'cap H'dle (Division One)The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after turning into the straight involving Reflectionist (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, and Lilian Bland, ridden by Mr M.J. Sweeney, placed fourth, where it appeared both horses made contact after Reflectionist made a move down the inside of Lilian Bland. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.W. Flanagan stated that as he made a move down the inner Lilian Bland moved across towards him and made contact with his horses hindquarters which caused him to lean into the horse on his outside. Mr. M.J. Sweeney stated that his filly is a difficult ride and when Reflectionist arrived on his inner she hung in towards Reflectionist. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found both S.W. Flanagan and Mr. M.J. Sweeney in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden carelessly and having considered their records, the Raceday Stewards cautioned both of them on this occasion.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Reflectionist (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got struck in the head at the start.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident just before the off of this race involving Reflectionist (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, and Lilian Bland, ridden by Mr M.J. Sweeney, where it appeared Mr. M.J. Sweeney struck Reflectionist across the head. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.W. Flanagan stated that he was continuing his walking line when Lilian Bland cut across him and when he increased his pace to maintain his position Mr. M.J. Sweeney struck his mount across the head. Mr. M.J. Sweeney stated he had a lack of judgement and struck out at the horse beside him and apologised for his actions. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. M.J. Sweeney was in breach of Rule 214 (improper riding) and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 5 racedays.
130E FEXCO Asset Finance H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sheephaven Flyer, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of All Walks Of Life, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Tilloughna, trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Sheephaven Flyer, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stopped quickly.
130F Regeneron Irish EBF (M) INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the straight involving Ivana (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, and Ma Bess, ridden by Mr J.C. Barry, placed second, where it appeared Ma Bess received a bump. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Ma Bess, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
