At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr R. James, rider of Gino Drummer Boy, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a couple of jumping mistakes early on and struggled to travel thereafter.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gino Drummer Boy, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. A O. Harrington, rider of Robin De Boston, who fell at the last hurdle in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had continued to race on despite being tailed off and also accepted that he should have pulled up before atempting to jump the last. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. A.O. Harrington was in breach of Rule 272(i) and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for five racedays.

E. Walsh, rider of West Is Best, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action crossing the line.
B.W. Harvey, rider of Silverstrand, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Double Jubilee trained by J.G. Murray was lame on his left fore post race.

163D Follow Kilbeggan On Instagram (M) H'dleThe Raceday Stewards informed W.P. Mullins, trainer of La Prima Donna, through his Authorised Representative that a repeat performance in the behaviour of his charge who refused to race, may render the animal liable to suspension in future.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Cleary-Farrell, rider of Space Tourist, concerning his use of the whip after the last hurdle where he appeared to use his whip despite being out on his own in front. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence the rider accepted that he had breached R10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Cleary-Farrell was in breach of Regulation 10.3(c)(unnecessary use when race is clearly won) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.
163E Belvedere House & Gardens Opp Beg SchaseK. Callaghan, rider of Winter Fog, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right throughout this race.
163F Galway Plate Trial H'cap S'chaseOwing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence 1 to be omitted for this race.
C. Brassil, rider of Defan (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost a shoe at the first fence.
163G Kilbeggan (Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Captain's Pick, ridden by Mr R. James, placed second, and Minella Mate, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, where both horses rolled around under pressure and came together after it appeared that Captain's Pick drifted left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
