170B CBE Concannon Group H'capThe Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that L.T. McAteer, rider of Moonhall Lass, weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said due to the very humid day there was excess sweat on the saddle pad. Evidence was also heard from Ms. A. O'Keeffe who confirmed the pad the rider was carrying had been soaked with sweat. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the riders explanation.
170C Ballyduane Stud (Fillies) H'capPrior to the running of this race the IHRB Clerk of the Course changed the going to good, good to yielding in places.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Touch The Sound, trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Anvika, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Stormie Outlook, trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a slight check turning in.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Beautiful Affair, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check off heels turning in. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
170D Greemount Suite @ Limerick H'capThe Raceday Stewards, in accordance to Rule 194(ii)(e), gave permission for Lorr's Girl, trained be Rodger Sweeney, to run without a tongue strap as she resisted its application.
The Raceday Stewards informed Rodger Sweeney, trainer of Lorr's Girl, that a repeat performance of his horse, who reared leaving the stalls and proceeded to buck unseating her rider as a result, may render the animal liable for suspension in future.
D.J. O'Connor, rider of El Bello (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went left in the straight.
170E Irish EBF Martin Molony StakesThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the two furlong pole involving Queenstown, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed sixth, Drawn To Dream, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed fifth, and Sharpen, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Whelan said he received interference from both sides. D.W. O'Connor said he received a bump from his left. A.J. Slattery said his mount ducked right after he applied the whip but he corrected her immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Sharpen, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Uluru, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainers representitive, Shane Crosse, attributed the apparent improvement in form to the step up in trip combined combined with the ease in the ground. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.
170F Follow Limerick On Instagram M'dnJ.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hobart, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.
170G Racing Again On 12th July H'capPrior to this race the IHRB Clerk of the Clourse changed the going to good to yielding.
C. Geerdharry, rider of Glory Sky, trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
