051B HOLLYWOODBETS HORSE RACING Claiming RaceS. Foley, rider of Approach The City trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.
R.C. Colgan, rider of Stinglikeabee trained by D.Broad, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst.
The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the home straight involving Nevendon (GB), ridden by Siobhán Rutledge, and Alhajjaj (GB), ridden by C.J. McGovern, where it appeared Alhajjaj(GB) got bumped on the turn into the straight. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.J. McGovern stated that he received slight interference, his mount was knocked off his stride but was going backwards at the time. Siobhán Rutledge stated that her mount is a big horse who was awkward and slow around the bend and has a tendency to hang left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise Siobhán Rutledge to ride with more care in future.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lady De Vesci, trained by M.Halford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
051C Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'capThe Stewards interviewed Anthony McCann, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Ragtime Red. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had initially nominated D.E. Sheehy to ride however he didn't satisfy the conditions of the race as he had ridden more than 15 winners in the time period. Shortly after the cut off period he had tried to submit a new nomination of rider (J.A. Powell) but at that stage it was too late. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and accepted the nomination of J.A. Powell at this time.

Sam Ewing, rider of Erosandpsyche trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount flipped over when the gates opened.
051G Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'capR.P. Whelan, rider of Merchant Of Venice (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action up the straight.
C.T. Keane, rider of Leadership Race trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst.
051H Follow On Twitter @DundalkStadium H'capThe Stewards received a report concerning what may be potentially an unauthorised attendance at the track by a person who may be a member of the staff of the trainer Michael J. Browne. When this was brought to the attention of the Stewards Mr. Browne had already left the track and accordingly the Stewards decided to refer this matter to the CEO for further investigation.
W.J. Lee, rider of Chummie trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too keen.
