At the request of the Stewards, S.A. Mulcahy, rider of Call Me Rocky, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to handle the testing ground conditions.

031C Holden Plant Rentals H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed B.J. Foley, rider of Street Value, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he has used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that B.J. Foley was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for one raceday.

031D Red Mills S'chase

Owing to ground conditions, the Stewards granted permission for races four and five to be started by flag.

031E 5 Star Lyrath Estate Hotel Beg. S'chase

The Stewards reviewed an incident after the last fence involving Antey (GER), ridden by P. Townend, placed second and Cedarwood Road, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, placed first, where it appeared both animals collided. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

031G Ronan Lawlor Mem EBF (M)(P-Am) Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr K. Callaghan, rider of Jumping Jet, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who outlined his inexperience and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(a) (down the shoulder while held in the forehand position) Regulation 10.3(c)(unnecessary use) and Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. K. Callaghan for 3 racedays.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Can U Believe trained by Conor O'Keeffe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran keen and was pulled up thereafter.
