The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Ms. M. J. Horsman replaced Sorcha Woods on Persian Lion, trained by Miss Katy Brown (Race 4)(Stewards permission).

039A Hollywoodbets Racing Claiming Race

The Stewards interviewed Thomas Cleary, trainer of Lady Alcazar, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who thanked the Stewards for the patience shown to his charge and also apologised for his charges behaviour and stated that today was her last chance. Having considered the evidence The Stewards suspended Lady Alcazar from racing for a period of 90 days.

039C Hollywoodbets Racing (Q.R.) H'cap

Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Ardamir (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount missed the break.

039D Hollywoodbets Racing H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sister Eliza, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind.

039E Hollywoodbets Racing & Sports M'dn

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of All Class (FR), ridden by M.A. Enright, and trained by David Peter Dunne. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. M.A. Enright, stated that his instructions were to sit mid division and he felt that they went very fast early on and he was content with his position throughout. He added that his mount had come home ok without quickening up or threatening the leaders. David Peter Dunne, confirmed the instructions given and stated that he was keen that his charge break smartly from the gates today as it has previously been slow away. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that All Class was post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.

039F HOLLYWOODBETS Patton Stakes

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Messidor trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount failed to settle.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zozimus, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
