Mrs Denise Foster, trainer of Glens Finale, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge burst.
387B1 Boyne Valley Maiden HurdleAt the request of the Stewards, D.F. O'Regan, rider of Run For Pat, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was green, missed the last two hurdles and stayed on.
387B2 Boyne Valley Maiden HurdleB. Hayes, rider of Bergentown trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
387C Slane (Mares) Maiden HurdleThe Stewards interviewed P.E. Corbett, rider of Moonshot, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who acknowledged that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.
387D Skryne Maiden HurdleS.D. Torrens, rider of Aragon trained by Mervyn Torrens, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Endless Cash, trained by D.Broad, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nostril post race.
S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Tom McGreevy trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right.
387E Kells Novice Handicap HurdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Presenting Dylan, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
387F Nobber Handicap HurdleThe Stewards interviewed L.A. McKenna, rider of Kasakh Noir (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who acknowledged he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Tech Talk trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly down the back straight and pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tech Talk, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
