At the request of the Stewards, K.C. Sexton, rider of Outback Flyer, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had run keen in her two previous bumper runs, today she missed the second last which cost her ground and she may need a further trip.
318B BetVictor Irish EBF Beginners S'chaseD.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Sams Profile (GB) trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sams Profile (GB), trained by M.F.Morris, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
318C Marlin Hotel Dublin H'cap S'chaseThe Stewards interviewed C.J. Orr, rider of Theatre World, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence C.J. Orr stated that he was trying to keep his mount going as it was a long run from the last fence and he was in a dual going to the line. He accepted that he had breached the whip guidelines and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.J. Orr was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his clean previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned C.J. Orr on this occasion.
318D Glenman Corporation H'cap S'chaseS.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Mystic Embarr trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout this race.
At the request of the Stewards, D.J. McInerney, rider of Balbir Du Mathan (FR), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly and was noted to have a cut on his off foreleg when pulled up. .
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Balbir Du Mathan (FR), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have quite a deep cut on his right fore. Samples were taken for analysis.
318E BetVictor Casino Novice H'dleL. Quinlan, rider of Donacheady Gale trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt lame after jumping the last, he eased his mount thereafter, before dismounting shortly afterwards.
318F COLM QUINN BMW M'dn H'dleThe Stewards reviewed an incident at the final hurdle involving Barbary Master (GB), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed third and Chinx Of Light, ridden by B. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared both horses collided on landing over this hurdle. Having reviewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted.
318G Anna O'Coinne Memorial H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Big King (FR), trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
At the request of the Stewards, R.A. Doyle, rider of Ena Baie (FR), trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he thought that the ground was too slow for his mount.
M.P. Burke, rider of Thousand Tears trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle and his saddle slipped. He also stated that he rode with his feet out of the irons for the remainder of the race.
