The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Cian Cullinan rode Ashlia Dancer (reserve) trained by P.G. Fahey (Race 3)
Mr.D. Kiely replaced Mr D.M. Fitzgerald on Carrig Mountain, trained by Martin Paul Fitzgerald (Race 7)(unwell)

179A Neville Hotels M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gorki D'airy (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

179B Tote H'cap H'dle

J.J. Slevin, rider of Be My Hero trained by Brendan Oliver Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a difficult ride going to the start, was reluctant to race and lost ground as a result.

179C Ladies Day Friday August 5th M'dn H'dle

R.J. Condon, rider of Two Meter Rule trained by Peter Croke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Cian Cullinan, rider of Ashlia Dancer trained by P.G. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount whinnied after the winning post.

179E MSK Silversands Ltd Beginners S'chase

B. Hayes, rider of Dads Lad trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Genois (FR) trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last with a circuit to race and lost his rhythm after.

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Champagne Gold, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Rachael Blackmore, stated she lost count but accepted she was in breach of R 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Ms Blackmore was in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency), and having considered her record in this regard they suspended her for 1 raceday. Mr. Emmet Halley absented himself from this enquiry and Ms. Carloine Corballis acted as Chairperson.

179F Molloy Metals Wexford GAA H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Arahecan trained by Henry de Bromhead was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Global Equity, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have got struck into on her left hind but was otherwise post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crazywork De Vassy (FR), trained by Michael J. McDonagh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

179G Irish Injured Jockeys (M) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cnoc Na Si, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr C. Mullins, rider of Bridal Knot, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr C. Mullins stated that he was in a tight finish and got a little carried away but accepted he was in breach of R 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr Mullins was in breach of R 10.3(f)(force), and 10.3(g)(frequency), and having taken his previous record into account they suspended him for 5 racedays.
