The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B. Hayes rode Penny West (reserve) trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 1)
A. Harvey replaced S. O'Callaghan on Tasmanian Girl, trained by Aengus King (Race 2)(Injured)
M.J.M O'Sullivan rode Hakensack (reserve) trained by Daniel G. Murphy (Race 4)

193A Shamrock Enterprises M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Penny West, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be injured post race.

H. Morgan, rider of Tom's My Star, trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

D.J Gilligan, rider of Premier Gale, trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame and was subsequently confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer that the horse was lame on her right fore post race.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Helicon, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame and was subsequently confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer to be lame behind post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident before turning in, where it appeared Cottage Artist, ridden by P.T. Enright struck a piece of railing. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Daniel Joseph O'Leary, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Getaway Henry, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Daniel Joseph O'Leary reported that Getaway Henry only has one eye and he feels that he didn't enjoy being crowded in his previous runs believes that a change of tactics today in placing him prominent and wide could have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

193C Visit Wexford M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from James Andrew Fahey, trainer of Derby De Thaix (FR), for an additional ten minutes to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Tom McGuinness, trainer of Esticky End, for an additional ten minutes to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Daniel G. Murphy, trainer of Hakensack, for an additional ten minutes to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chosen Thyme, trained by Philip Fenton, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

R. Berry, rider of A Okay, trained by J.A.Berry, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured and was subsequently confirmed by an IHRB Veterniary Officer to be injured on the right fore leg post race.

193D Visit Wexford.ie Beginners S'chase

Sam Ewing, rider of Ambitious Fellow, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped violently left, never travelled and pulled up thereafter.

193E Micheál O'Murchadha Memorial Hcap S'cha

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tag Man, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of French Dynamite (FR), trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the second last fence.

Niall Moore, rider of Good As Hell, trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

193F Fleadh Cheoil Wexford H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Game And Glory, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thehairyfella, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have skin scrapings on his fore legs but otherwise was post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Three By Two, ridden by R. Deegan, unplaced, Coastguard Lady, ridden by J.P. O'Sullivan, unplaced, and Depeche Mo, ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan, unplaced where it appeared Coastguard Lady ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Deegan stated that he was back pedaling at that point in the race and didn't feel like he contributed to the incident. J.P. O'Sullivan stated that he ran out of room between Depeche Mo and the running rail. M.J.M O'Sullivan stated that he felt he was riding his racing line inside of Three By Two when he felt pressure from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Game And Glory, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Coastguard Lady, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered coming down the hill.

J.B. Foley, rider of Pearlofflorida, trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

193G Racing Again 24th July (M) INH Flat Race

Mr H.C. Swan, rider of Keep The Head, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jinked at the road crossing and unseated him.
