G.M. Ryan, rider of Elliptic trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount slowly away.

083B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving No More Porter, ridden by G.P. Halpin, Darkdeserthighway, ridden by L.F. Roche and Showcasing Sadie, ridden by Katelyn Young, where it appeared there was minor interference on the run to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Maguire's Grace, trained by Michael J. Browne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very fractious in the stall and almost went down. She got hot as a result of this and then failed to quicken.

083C Thank You To The Frontline Workers H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Jazz And Blues trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got out paced early on.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mienvee Flyer (GB), trained by Thomas Cooper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

Sam Ewing, rider of Chocquinto trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount dwelt in the stalls and despite his best effort lost considerable ground.

083E Tipperary Town M'dn

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Manning, rider of New Reality, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that K. J. Manning was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

O.J. Orr, rider of Parliament Hill (GB) trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Modus Operandi, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his his whip excessively and with force having viewed photographic evidence from the I.H.R.B Veterinary officer. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(f)(force) and Regulation 10.3 (g)(frequency). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended J.A. Heffernan for 4 racedays.

The Stewards enquired into an incident turning out of the back straight involving Morph Speed, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, Take My Hand, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Is Fantastic, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Basrah Breeze, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, S.T. McCullagh stated that his mount has a very soft mouth and wears a rubber bit and overreacted when things got tight. J.M. Sheridan stated that the horse in front of him was going backwards caused him to sit and suffer for a few strides. G.F. Carroll stated that he was on the outside and suffered no interference. W.J. Lee stated that he kept his racing line throughout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards did not apportion blame and took no further action.

The Stewards informed Ciaran Murphy, trainer, that All The Mollies, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. Furthermore, the Stewards informed the trainer that a repeat performance in the behaviour of his charge at the start, may render the animal liable to future suspension. .

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Samaritaine (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
