116C TipperaryRaces.ie H'capThe Stewards interviewed A.J. Slattery, rider of A Step Too Far, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended A.J. Slattery for 1 raceday.
116D Tipperary H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Primo Uomo, ridden by D.N. Curran, placed second, Aloysius Lilius, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed fifth and King Of Stars, ridden by E. Greatrex, placed fourth, where it appeared Primo Uomo drifted towards the stands. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and therefore took no further action.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Lapses Linguae (FR) trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was reluctant to race early.
W.J. Lee, rider of Jungle Jane trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.
116E Ir Stall Farms EBF Median Auct. (F) MdnThe Stewards interviewed E. Greatrex, rider of Gin Blossom, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10. 3(h) in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned E. Greatrex on this occasion.
