115A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Never Forgotten, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a dive to it's right on the first bend.

115B(i) Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn (Division One)

S. Foley, rider of Lobo Rojo (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not come down the hill at all well.

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Tuned For Power, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and trained by Joseph G. Murphy. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. J.A. Heffernan, stated that his instructions were to ride his mount as he found it and to achieve his best possible finishing position. He felt that his mount ran on his nerves a little throughout the race and if he had not done so it may have finished out his race better. He also stated that his mount carried his head slightly to the right and may be better suited by going left handed. Joseph G. Murphy, confirmed the instructions given and stated that he was satisfied with the ride and added that his charge may still be a bit weak. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Tuned for Power was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.

Ms. Kate Harrington, authorised representative for Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Lobo Rojo (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge banged his head in the starting stalls prior to the race starting. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officier examined Lobo Rojo at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Gudmanlarry trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green.

R. Coakley, rider of Ioronta (GB) trained by John M. Oxx, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the starting stalls.

115D(ii) MansionBet's Get Paid As A Winner H'cap (Division Two)

S. Foley, rider of Lottieloveheart trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Scarlet Seymour trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped heels after leaving the stalls.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Loughanlea Lass trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Attack At Dawn trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was lame when pulling up.

Dermot Murphy, trainer of Early Strike (FR), reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Monday the 22nd of June that his charge did not handle the ground.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Elfin Queen (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
