182A Railway Bar 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle
The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Jeff Kidder, ridden by D.F. O'Regan, placed second and Longclaw (USA), ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and they took no further action.
182B Dysart M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Seanbhothar, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame right fore post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fox Fearless (GB), trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a left fore shoe and to be lame left fore post race.
B. Browne, rider of Fox Fearless (GB) trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled a front shoe.
182C Class Grass H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Freewheelin Dylan trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin was found to have blood at both nostrils post race possibly as a result of falling.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Top Of The Charts (FR), ridden by E. Walsh, placed third, Cahirdown Boy, ridden by R.P. Treacy, faller, and Happie Days, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed second, where it appeared that top of the Charts ran short of room and had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found R. P. Treacy in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered R. P. Treacy's record in this regard the Stewards suspended R. P. Treacy for one raceday. Furthermore the Stewards found E. Walsh in breach of Rule 272(ii), in that he had supplied misleading information at a Stewards' enquiry. Having considered E. Walsh's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
182D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beg S'chP.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Trickey Trix trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was reluctant to jump off and race.
182G Irelands Hidden Heartlands INH Flat RaceThe Stewards interviewed Thomas Gibney, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Little Mar. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had declared Little Mar on Friday evening despite the fact that declarations did not close until Saturday and that a jockey's agent was to call him back on Saturday morning to confirm a rider. Furthermore, he stated that he had then lost his phone while riding out on Saturday morning and had forgotten about nominating a rider and by the time he had located his phone it was past the time to nominate. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the request for Mr. N. McParlan. Having considered Thomas Gibney's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
GENERAL INFORMATIONThe following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

The Stewards met to consider a report from Ms Sharleen O'Reilly, HRI Covid Officer that Sean Cox, Course electrician, had gained admission to the racecourse without following the admission screening protocols. She added that Sean Cox was informed that admission would not be allowed except in the event of an absolute electrical emergency and should that happen then his temporary admission would be subject to the IHRB Medical Officer screening him. She informed the Stewards that he had entered through a Security gate and had done so for a personal emergency reason. He left the premises having apologised for his actions. Michael Finneran, Roscommon Racecourse Manager stated that he was unaware that this incident had happened and confirmed that all personnel under his care today had been informed by email of their responsibility to comply with the Covid screening procedures for this meeting. Sean Cox was unable to attend this enquiry. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter to the CEO of the IHRB for further investigation.
