The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Moon In Her Eye (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

E.J. McNamara replaced P.B. Beggy on Gauntlet, trained by A.P.O'Brien (Race 7)(Unwell)

183A Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Choice And Chance, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Choice And Chance trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action behind and was eased.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Performance Plus trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount failed to stride out from the start.

S. Foley, rider of Annabelle Rock trained by Miss Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of the gates.

L.F. Roche, rider of Pulsating, trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was unable to hold its position and he took a precautionary check before running on again.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Improving trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that the winner leaned in on his mount.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Teddy Boy trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room and did not get a clear run.

The Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Hell Left Loose (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge was drawn wide in Leopardstown on his only previous run for him and appeared to fade in the closing stages over what was a longer trip. He felt a combination of a the drop back in trip today and a straight course, had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Mokhalad (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room.

S. Foley, rider of Blairmayne trained by Miss Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no run.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Red Pantz, trained by James M. Barrett, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

James J. Doyle, rider of Amanaat trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount refused to race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Mokhalad (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan, Miss Jabeam, ridden by O.J. Orr and Miacomet, ridden by G.P. Halpin, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.P. Halpin was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Steward suspended G.P Halpin for one raceday.

The Stewards interviewed Damian Joseph English, trainer of Amanaat, concerning the behaviour of his charge who refused to race when the stalls opened for what was the third consecutive time. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards suspended Amanaat from racing for for a period of 30 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 14(iii). Furthermore, the Stewards ordered that Amanaat be recertified before being declared to run from stall again.

The Stewards informed Damian Joseph English, trainer that Amanaat, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

183F Naas Racecourse Apprentice H'cap

L.T. McAteer, rider of Storm Elza trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount clipped a heel turning in and never travelled thereafter.

183G Nursery Of Champions M'dn

At the request of the Stewards, O.J. Orr, rider of Ashtarak, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to quicken in the straight.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Complete Fiction trained by Dermot Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.

L.F. Roche, rider of King Arthurs Sword trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action turning in.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Amhran Na Bhfiann trained by A.P.O'Brien was found to be lame post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined King Arthurs Sword, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
