The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Daniel William O'Sullivan, trainer of Decorated Elle (transport difficulties) - €200
Matthew J. Smith, trainer of Napper Tandy (GB) (late withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J. Cleary replaced C. Geerdharry on Stellium, trained by M.C. Grassick (Race 6)(stewards permission)

260A Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race

S. Foley, rider of Loch Tay (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount idled in front.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Quarry Stone, trained by Liam McAteer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the bend coming into the straight.

260B Elphin H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shamrock Sprig, trained by Daniel James Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be suffering from delayed recovery post race.

M.W Hassett, rider of The Fog Horn, trained by Seamus G. O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount blew up coming into the straight.

B.M. Coen, rider of Share The Treasure, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Cannes Do, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right throughout.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Second Fiddle, trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Nibras Rainbow, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and stated his mount lugged right in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.F. Roche was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for three racedays.

L.F. Roche, rider of Nibras Rainbow, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right in the straight.

260D Lecarrow Race

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Miss Tapley, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bit tight for room in the home straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Ms. K. Harrington, Authorised Representative for Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Riviera Queen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge scoped badly post race.

260E Racing Here Again On September 30 M'dn

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Tollstone Souza, trained by P.Cluskey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung completely off the home bend.

260F Oran H'cap

The Raceday Stewards received a request from M.C. Grassick, trainer of Stellium, to substitute the nominated rider C. Geerdharry, with J. Cleary, due to a breakdown in the relationship. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards allowed the request on this occasion in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 3 as they were satisfied that the request was a valid one.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Soul Of Spain, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right on the home turn and became very unbalanced.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Narlita (GER), trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stopped quickly.

L.F. Roche, rider of Granite Bay (GB), trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right five furlongs out.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Herculaneum, ridden by G. Brouder, unseated, and Scatchwah, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed first, where it appeared Herculaneum clipped a heel and unseated the rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G. Brouder stated that Scatchwah took his path and he received contact and clipped a heel. R.C. Colgan stated that he thought he was clear of Herculaneum and didn't feel any contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R.C. Colgan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (third offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays.

260G Roscommon Racecourse On Facebook H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Prairie Angel, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his hind legs turning in.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Fine Print, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, and Bhean Saibhre, ridden by J. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
