D.P. McDonogh, rider of Desmond Castle, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he was unseated at the start. Having viewed a recording of the start and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
S. Foley, rider of Forza Toro (GB), trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was green when he hit the front and lugged left.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Ryback, trained by Liam G O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green throughout.
261B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Wanda The Fish, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i). However, the animal was subsequently withdrawn by Order of the Stewards for failing to arrive by the new deadline.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Yaxchilan, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, and Princess Aurea, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed fourth, where it appeared there was a bump between the two horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that he got bumped for a stride. A.J. Slattery stated that as he struck his mount she made contact with Yaxchilan but felt he had corrected her immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident coming out of the stalls involving Marakesh (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, Princess Aurea, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed fourth, and Al Bahar (QA), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, where it appeared the horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Princess Aurea, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right momentarily up the straight.
261D Membership At Gowran (F) Claiming RaceJ.A. Powell, rider of Smaoineamh Sile (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.
261E Societies At Gowran Park Apprentice HcapThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pascalia, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of St Laurence's Gate, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and was pulled up.
Kyle Faulkner, rider of Zero Fighter, trained by E. D. Delany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled a front shoe early on in the race.
261F Support The Irish Injured Jockeys H'capD.P. McDonogh, rider of Blackcastle Storm (GB), trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
261G Racing Again September 21st M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Redwood Queen, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.
W.J. Lee, rider of Silas Marner, trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away.
261H Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident a hundred yards from the finish involving Amangani, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third, and Mint Candy, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, where it appeared Amangani got tight for room momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
Adam Caffrey, rider of Annie M, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls resulting in it being slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Amangani, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third, Blondina, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fifth, and Mint Candy, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, where it appeared Blondina suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Cleary stated that as Amangani quickened past him, he just rolled in on him momentarily and he had to take a precautionary check. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount rolled slightly to the right but felt he was clear of Blondina at the time. D. McMonagle stated that as his mount quickened past Blondina he leaned a little bit right but felt there wasn't much in it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Amangani had caused slight interference to Blondina. However, they gave D. McMonagle the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and took no further action.
