Barry J. Fitzgerald, trainer of Spring Wind (off feed) - €200388A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn
G.F. Carroll, rider of Dont Do Dramas, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away.
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Nika Pika, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got upset in the stalls and was hampered just after the gates opened.
388B roscommonracecourse.ie H'capR.P. Whelan, rider of Cherry Pink, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Inthepoorhouse, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running at any stage.
388C Roscommon (Fillies) H'capR.P. Whelan, rider of Vadiana, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room leaving the gates.
388E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnD.P. McDonogh, rider of Loveauntviv, trained by Joe Conlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost an iron early on and his mount ran keen.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Born Ruthless, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed sixth, Honketonk Angel, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, and Loveauntviv, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.F.Carroll stated that he was maintaining his racing line when he received pressure from his outside and had to check. Amy Jo Hayes stated that the horse in front of her moved to the left and her mount darted right. D.P.McDonogh stated that his mount was tiring and hung a little left, but was satisfied that he was clear of any incident and had not contributed to it in any way. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Amy Jo Hayes, was in breach of Rule 214(careless riding) and having considered her record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended her for one raceday.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Queen Of Seduction, placed first, as compared with its recent form when unplaced at Gowran on its previous run. Ms. Kate Harrington, Authorised Representative for the trainer, reported that she could not account for the poor performance on her charges previous run despite making every effort to find an explanation. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
388F Castlerea H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Autocrat, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
388G Racing Again June 12th H'capThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Youcrackmeup (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form where she was unplaced. Ms. Kate Harrington, Authorised Representative, stated that her charge can be temperamental and the application of first time blinkers helped bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
