The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. Kavanagh replaced R.J. Condon on Eire Comes Tribsy, trained by P.A.Fahy (Race 7)(injured).

155B Ladbrokes '2UP&Win' M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Fernhill Fling, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

A.P. Kelly, rider of Martinstown, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Ol Man Dingle, ridden by H. Morgan, and trained by Eoin Griffin. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. H. Morgan, stated that his instructions were to jump off mid division and get his horse into a rhythm and ride a race thereafter. He further added that his mount struggled to lie up and only got going late on. Eoin Griffin stated that he is a disappointing horse, he wanted to get some confidence into him and hoped that he would run well. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Ol Man Dingle was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations offered.

155C Ladbrokes Daily Odds Boost M'dn H'dle

T. Ryan, rider of Beechfield, trained by Donal Commins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake down the side.

R.A. Doyle, rider of The Diddler, trained by P.M. Quinlan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T.P. Harney, rider of Donnie Devito, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that T.P. Harney was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

155D1 Ladbrokes Play '1-2-Free' H'cap H'dle

J. Coen, rider of The Miracle Man, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Internet Biddy, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.I. Duggan, rider of Warmer Days Ahead (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.I. Duggan was in breach or R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (fourth offence), they suspended him for 15 days and ordered that he attend R.A.C.E. for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the back straight involving Internet Biddy, ridden by M.P. O'Connor and Trim To Milan, ridden by R.A. Doyle where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

155E Ladbrokes '5-A-Side' H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Gaelic Arc, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference after the last involving Final Orders (GB), ridden by P.M. O'Brien, placed fourth, and Gaelic Arc, ridden by G. Brouder, placed third, where it appeared Final Orders got tight for room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.M. O'Brien said he was running on when he got marginally tight but didn't feel it cost him third place. G. Brouder said he switched his whip to his right in order to correct his mount after he felt him starting to drift. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

K. Callaghan, rider of Uncle Phil, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

A.P. Kelly, rider of Typical Thomas, trained by James Andrew Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and jumped left throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Uncle Phil, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider of Gaelic Arc, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G. Brouder was in breach of R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record (first offence), they suspended him for two racedays.

155F Ladbrokes H'cap S'chase

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr. Brendan Sheridan, to amend the distance of this race to 3 miles and 157 yrds, due to a rail realignment.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jump The Shark, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind post race.
