The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Busselton (FR) (Off Feed) - €200
Sean Thomas Doyle, trainer of Monbeg Park (Off Feed) - €200
Gordon Elliott, trainer of Maxxum (Declared in Error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.C. Gainford rode Quornofamonday (reserve) trained by J.P.Dempsey (Race 1)
S. O'Callaghan rode El Champo (reserve) trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 2)
K.M. Donoghue replaced S. Fitzgerald on Final Orders (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 1)(intended mount a non runner)

104A Howden Cross Country S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B.T. Stone, rider of Vital Island, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr B.T. Stone accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr B.T. Stone was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

Sam Ewing, rider of Chemical Energy, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Chemical Energy trained by Gordon Elliott was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

104B Oaklodgelandscapes.ie H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards fined Raymond Hurley, trainer €65 for failing fit the declared cheekpieces to Run Wild Fred, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Shanbally Kid, placed first, as compared with its recent form. David Casey, Authorised Representative for W.P. Mullins, trainer, stated that jumping at the slower pace over this extended distance seemed to contribute to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Meyo (GB), trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Short Go, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

, rider of El Champo, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the loose horse multiple times.

104D Palmerstown House Pat Taaffe H'cap S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Amirite, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Grandero Bello (FR), trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

104F Lawlor's Of Naas H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jazzy Matty (FR), trained by Cian Collins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

104G DAR Golf (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Ballyedward, ridden by Mr S. Connor, Quantum Boy, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, Lexington Wood (FR), ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, and Biglesisback (GB), ridden by Mr G. Walkingshaw where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr G. Walkingshaw stated that he suffered interference from his outside on the home bend. Mr S. Connor stated that it got very tight from his outside on the home bend. Mr P.W. Mullins stated that he felt he had travelled one off the rail throughout and didn't feel there was sufficient room for two horses inside him. Mr H.C. Swan stated that he felt he kept his racing line around the bend and caused no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr P.W. Mullins, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four Racedays.

Mr A. Leahy, rider of Pension Perk, trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise.

Mr G. Walkingshaw, rider of Biglesisback (GB), trained by Lucinda Russell (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump from his outside on the home bend.
