The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Amiata, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, Baker Blue (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed fifth, and Enthusiastically, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared that G.F. Carroll had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Parkside Lad, trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed out at the start. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Thunderbear, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he felt pressure from the left on the line.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Thunderbear, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed third, Little Queenie, ridden by R. Whearty, placed second, Apache Outlaw, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed fourth and Sturlasson, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he felt pressure from the left, but that it had not affected his finishing position. Adam Caffrey stated that he felt pressure from both sides landing on the line, but that it had not affected his finishing position. C.D. Hayes stated that he felt pressure from Little Queenie. R. Whearty stated that his mount had hung right looking at the parade ring just before the line but that he had made every effort to correct his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Little Queenie had caused interference to both Sturlasson and Thunderbear, he did not improve his finishing position relative to these horses, so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. They were, however, of the opinion that R. Whearty, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
Adam Caffrey, rider of Apache Outlaw, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had clipped a heel on the line.
