The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

T. P. Smith Carberry rode Roxy Roulette, trained by A.J.Martin (Race 8)(Stewards permission)
M. P. O'Connor replaced M.J.M O'Sullivan on Coming Up Easy, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 7)(Stewards permission)
D. J. O'Keeffe replaced M.P. O'Connor on Mahon's Way, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 7)(Stewards permission)

371A1 Mervyn Gray Construction M'dn H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Clondyke River, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Eddie Harty, trainer of Along The Way, in relation to his charge crossing the parade ring prior to being mounted. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who accepted that his member of staff had led his charge across the parade ring but added that that part of the parade ring was empty and he wanted to keep the horse moving. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted Eddie Harty's explanation on this occasion and took no further action other than to remind him of his responsibility to ensure that his employees are conversant with the foregoing procedures.

371B Headfort Arms Hotel M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number three to be omitted from this race

371C Tote Navan Novice H'dle

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number three to be omitted from this race

371D Bective Stud, Tea Rooms H'cap H'dle

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number three to be omitted from this race

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Oscars Brother, ridden by D. King, placed third, Backmersackme, ridden by Conor Clarke, placed second, and Flicker Of Hope (FR), ridden by A.P. Kelly, placed first, where it appeared there was very minor contact between Oscars Brother and Backmersackme. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined My Trump Card, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

371E Timeless Sash Windows Foxrock H'cap S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hercule Du Seuil (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

A.P. Kelly, rider of Hercule Du Seuil (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake down the back straight.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Aime Desjy (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Thomas Gibney, trainer of Must Be Obeyed, regarding the late arrival of his charge into the parade ring without permission to do so, which meant she arrived at the start after the official off time. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that his charge is a very difficult horse and he has alway requested permission to go late but he had two runners in the race and he forgot to ask permission. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Thomas Gibney was in breach of Rule 32 (ii)(late into parade ring) and Rule 205 (i)(late to the start). Having considered his record in this regard (second offence under Rule 32 and first offence under Rule 205) the Raceday Stewards fined him €200 for the breach of Rule 32 and cautioned him for the breach of Rule 205.

371F QuinnBet Beginners S'chase

S.D. Torrens, rider of Splashing Out, trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Splashing Out, trained by Eoin Griffin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a cut to its left fore pastern and right stifle area.

371G Skryne GAA Day Out INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from A. J. Martin, trainer of Roxy Roulette, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

Mr S. Connor, rider of Jolie Folie, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green early on.

After the running of Race 2 the official going on the hurdle track was changed to soft.

After the running of Race 4 the official going on the hurdle and bumper track was changed to soft, soft to heavy in places and the chase track was changed to soft.
