125A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Sounds Like A Plan (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green and leaned right in the straight.

125B Flower Hill Apprentice H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Shoebox King, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left up the straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hope And Innocence, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

R. Whearty, rider of Jacks Inn, trained by John M.Harney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Sin E Shekells (GB), trained by J.G. Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost his irons leaving the stalls. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race and were satisfied that Sin E Shekells had struck the gates after they had started to open and that no further action was warranted.

125C Navan Racecourse M'dn

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Verified, trained by Charles Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

L.F. Roche, rider of Back Down Under, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

125D Bellinter H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Buddy Batt, trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right when off the bridle.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately one furlong from the winning post, where it appeared that Jon Riggens, ridden by B.M. Coen, switched left off the heels of Buddy Batt who was hanging and slightly bumped Pro Bono Alexander, ridden by M.W Hassett. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

125F2 Troytown Bar H'cap

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Eamonn O'Connell, trainer of Say You're Sorry, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

S. Foley, rider of Gracesolution, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled slightly right when travelling down the hill.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Xquise (FR), trained by Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a bump about two furlongs out.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Gracesolution, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, Mephisto, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth, Dubai Clover, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, Xquise (FR), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, and Gudrun Genberg, ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, where it appeared that Xquise suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Adam Caffrey stated that was not travelling well when he received a bump from his inside. C.T. Keane stated that his mount was wearing head gear and rolled around a little despite his best efforts. G.F. Carroll stated that his mount was at the end of its run. M.W. Hassett stated that his mount received a bump in the closing stages from his left. S. Foley stated that he took his mount off heels when Mephisto rolled to its right, and he shifted out as a result. He was further of the opinion that Gundrun Genberg had rolled left which may have contributed to the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Foley was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.

125G Book Your Summer BBQ On June 8th M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rock Of Ireland, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Heliogabalus, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was struck into behind.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Lady Doris, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.
