181B1 Lacey's Plumbing Apprentice H'cap

D. McMonagle, rider of Vivaia trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference two furlongs out. The Stewards reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

181B2 Lacey's Plumbing Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Pinball Wizard, ridden by S.D. Bowen, unplaced, Gallow Hill, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced and Pallasmore Lass, ridden by J. Coen, placed fourth, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Mr. Liam Cleary, who accompanied S.D. Bowen, Mr. Brendan Powell, who accompanied J. Coen and Ms. Sheila Lavery, who accompanied J. Cleary. J. Cleary, stated that he suffered interference when the horse on his inner came across him. J. Coen, stated that he suffered interference and was bumped by the horse on his inner. S.D. Bowen, stated that his mount hung right which caused interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.D. Bowen was in breach of Rule 214(careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for 4 racedays.

S.D. Bowen, rider of Pinball Wizard trained by John J.Nallen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right when under pressure.

J. Cleary, rider of Gallow Hill trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

J. Coen, rider of Pallasmore Lass trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump in the closing stages.

181C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for a two minute race delay to this race.

L.F. Roche, rider of Belle Fourche trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced in running.

181E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Dubawi Spectre (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran a little short of room inside the last furlong.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Shadowed trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

181G coasttocurragh.ie For Sat Aug 27th H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Rock Of Candy trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
