207C NFP H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Nikki Swango, ridden by W.M. Lordan, unplaced, Glamorously, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, unplaced, and Von Krolock, ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, where it appeared Glamorously momentarily ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. M. Lordan stated that he moved left as the horse in front was dropping out. K. G. Kennedy stated that things got a little tight. M. W. Hassett stated that his mount is not straightforward and rolled around. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M. W. Hassett, was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended W. M. Hassett for two race days.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Glamorously, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little bit tight for room inside the final furlong.

207D Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Dance Night Andday, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was denied a clear run inside the final furlong. 207E1 O'Neill & Co. Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Coyle, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Selective Power, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Thomas Coyle stated that the application of first time cheek pieces coupled with his charge getting his own way out in front on softer ground had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stop On Red, trained by Miss Katy Brown, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

J. Cleary, rider of Asisaid, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

C.M Hogan, rider of Hastily (GB), trained by Tom McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away and never travelled.
