The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L. Quinlan rode Beeverstown Place (reserve), trained by M.A. Cahill (Race 7)
J.S. McGarvey rode Job Well Done (reserve), trained by E. Bolger (Race 7)

390A Masterchefs 2025 Maiden Hunters S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the false start involving Bigbraveboy, ridden by Mr J.G. Murphy, unplaced, Con's Roc, ridden by Mr D. Allen, placed first, Dromleigh, ridden by Miss L. Costello, unplaced, Drumnasoo, ridden by Mr N. McParlan, unplaced, Grageen, ridden by Mr P.A. King, unplaced, Headcorn, ridden by Mr B. Lawless, unplaced, Hitak (FR), ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, unplaced, Jet Fighter, ridden by Mr B.T. Stone, unplaced, Look Dont Touch, ridden by Mr I. Ryan, unplaced, Willitgoahead, ridden by Mr J.L. Scallan, placed second, and Wine An Dine (GB), ridden by Mr J.H. Williamson, placed fifth, where it appeared these riders came forward too quickly prior to the start. Evidence was heard from the IHRB Starter, Mr. B. Hamilton, and riders concerned. Mr. B. Hamilton stated that he asked the riders to walk and they broke into a canter before the flag was raised. Mr J.G. Murphy stated that he just followed the horses in front of him. Mr D. Allen stated that he was unsure if the race had started and he moved forward as he felt Rocky's Howya was gaining an advantage. Miss L. Costello felt she had not contributed to the false start. Mr N. McParlan stated that he couldn't hear the starter and Mr. R.W. Barron's mount kept cutting in causing his mount to get anxious. Mr P.A. King stated that he was unsure if the race had started or not. Mr B. Lawless stated that his mount was trotting to keep up with the horses on his inside and he couldn't see the starter. Mr B. O'Neill stated that his mount jumped into the bridle when the start was anticipated but he tried his best to restrain him. Mr B.T. Stone stated that he was on the outside and couldn't hear the starter. Mr I. Ryan stated that he tried his best to stop his mount. Mr J.L. Scallan stated that he followed the horses in front of him. Mr J.H. Williamson stated that that the horses have gone around him but he has restraint straight away. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found all the above riders were in breach of Rule 208, and having considered their clean records in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended them for one raceday each. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards wished to interview Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Rocky's Howya. However as he had left the racecourse prior to ten minutes after the winner alright had been announced as required under Rule 229(v), the Raceday Stewards referred Mr R.W. Barron to the Referrals Committee to consider whether a breach of Rule 208 had occurred.

390B Limerick Racecourse Novice H'cap S'chase

G.B. Noonan, rider of Soldier Of Honour, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Da Big Fella, trained by Eamon Courtney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider of Muskerry Rock, concerning his use of the whip throughout this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G. Brouder was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency). Having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from C. Byrnes, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Whateys Quest, placed first, as compared with its recent form. C. Byrnes reported that the step up in trip may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

390C QuinnBet H'cap H'dle

G.B. Noonan, rider of The Blaggard, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the bend turning in.

390D Prestige Tarmacadam Rated Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after jumping the third last hurdle involving Summer Melody, ridden by P. Byrnes, fell, Attaboyarchie, ridden by Miss E.J. Sweeney, placed fifth, and Ask The Bookie, ridden by D. King, placed third, where it appeared D. King had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Rut Daniels, ridden by R.P. Treacy, placed fourth, Say It So, ridden by C.P. McNamara, placed sixth, and Ask The Bookie, ridden by D. King, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Treacy stated that his mount became unbalanced on two occasions. D. King stated that as he was in the gap he received pressure from his outside and had to take back. C.P. McNamara stated that his mount lugged badly to the right despite his best efforts and apologised for causing interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.P. McNamara was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. Mr. J. O'Shaughnessy absented himself from this enquiry.

390F Cuchulainn M'dn H'dle

M.P. O'Connor, rider of The Dawn (FR), trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room at the end of the back straight but it made no difference to his finishing position. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Restless Lady, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.
