The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K. J. Brouder replaced M. Hamill on Leahman (GB), trained by Terence O'Brien (Race 1)(injured)
J. J. Slevin replaced D.E. Mullins on Motcomb Street (USA), trained by G. Ahern (Race 4)(Stood down).
S. F. O'Keeffe replaced D.E. Mullins on Reine Fee, trained by Shane Crawley (Race 5)(Stood down).
B. J. Cooper replaced D.E. Mullins on Fairyhill Run, trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 6)(Stood down).
C. A. Landers replaced D.E. Mullins on Stucker Hill, trained by W.J.Lanigan (Race 8)(Stood down).

182A Adare Beginners S'chase

D.J. McInerney, rider of Top Line Tommy trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped very poorly.

At the request of the Stewards, D. Robinson, rider of Defan (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped big and found todays going too quick.

At the request of the Stewards, K. J. Brouder, rider of Leahman (GB), trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped and his mount jumped badly right.

The Stewards reviewed an incident at the last fence involving Eagle Moon (FR), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed second and Grange Walk, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared that Grange Walk jumped right into Eagle Moon. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

182C Glin Beginners S'chase

J.M. Moore, rider of Bread And Butter trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Alice Avril (FR) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount ran free early on.

182D Ballyagran H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dynamic Allen (FR), trained by B. R. Hamilton, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be sore on its right hind having pulled its right hind shoe and also to have a wound to the anterior aspect of the right hind.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Arctic Light (GB), trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Seskin Flyer trained by Patrick Carey was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

L. Quinlan, rider of Seskin Flyer trained by Patrick Carey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Shopping Around trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was lame upon pulling up.

A.W. Short, rider of Fenlon's Hill trained by Paul Stafford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount whipped around at the start.

The Stewards reviewed an incident approaching the second last involving Tiantu, ridden by Mr P. Power, unplaced and Shopping Around, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed second, where it appeared that Shopping Around moved out onto the racing line of Tiantu. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards enquired into the start of this race where it appeared that Fenlon's Hill, ridden by A. W. Short, whipped around and did not participate in this race. Evidence was heard from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. P. L. Malone and A. W. Short, rider. Mr. P. L. Malone stated that he saw Fenlon's Hill whipping around but felt this had happened after he had effected a fair start. A. W. Short stated that his mount whipped around without warning, just before the starter had dropped his flag. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that although marginal, the incident had occurred before the starter had dropped his flag and they therfore declared Fenelon's Hill a non runner under the provisions of Rule 209(v), and refereed the matter to the C.E.O of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for consideration.

182E Croom (Mares) Beginners S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of Getaway Goldie, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped very poorly and to the left throughout and also found todays going too quick.

182F Newcastlewest H'cap S'chase

P.T. Enright, rider of Sizing Malbay trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

182G1 Templeglantine H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from David M.O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Double Windsor, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Garrett Power, representative for David M. O'Brien stated that the reapplication of blinkers coupled with todays better ground had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given. Furthermore, The Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 147(v) fined David M. O'Brien €130 for failing to lodge the appropriate authorisation form appointing a representative.

The Stewards interviewed Mr C. J. Shine, rider of Top Question, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. C. J. Shine was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. C. J. Shine's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

182G2 Templeglantine H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mullaghmurphy Blue, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

The Stewards requested a report from Robert Tyner, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Blustery, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mary Tyner, Authorised Representative for Robert Tyner stated that the better ground today coupled with a step up in trip had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
