151A Irish Stallion Farms (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving Giselle, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed second, and Vega's Muse (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, where it appeared Giselle got tight for room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.L. Moore said his filly overreacted when he received a bit of pressure from his right. S. Foley said his mount leaned in on the bend into the straight for a stride but he corrected her immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action. Mr. G.V. Magee recused himself from this enquiry.

S. Foley, rider of Vega's Muse (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green and lugged left.

151B King George V Cup

D. McMonagle, rider of Bad Desire (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried right in the straight.

151C Leopardstown Golf Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gabriella Hill, rider of Bold Approach, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the Whip regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Gabriella Hill was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record (first offence), the Raceday Stewars using their discretion suspended her for one raceday. Gabriella Hill was accompanied by Ms. Heather Heffernan in this enquiry.

151D Irish EBF Glencairn Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Formal Display (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Quar Shamar (GER), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a bad step at the road crossing and didn't move fluently thereafter.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Unreasonable, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the gates.

151E 1888 Restaurant H'cap

D. McMonagle, rider of Longbourn, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check going to the line.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Shigar, trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The IHRB veterinary officer confirmed that the animal had blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the line involving Longbourn, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed fifth, and Livio Milo, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared Longbourn had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle said he was just staying on when he had to take a slight check. C.D. Hayes stated his mount drifted slightly left but he felt he had corrected immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
