The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gearoid O'Loughlin, trainer of Sawbuck (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. Stone-Walsh replaced T. Joseph Kelly on Coco Lightning, trained by Thomas P.O'Connor (Race 7)(Injury).
M.P. O'Connor replaced R.J. Condon on Kudasheva, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 6)(Injury)

152A Powerstown Park Beginners S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Joseph Hanlon, trainer of Master Player for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for an identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

S. Fitzgerald, rider of Walnut Beach, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

152B Botanica International Opp.H'cap S'ch

G.B. Noonan, rider of Bite That, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mcgrath From Clune, trained by Robert Tyner, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have superficial abrasions to its right fore cannon but was otherwise post race normal.

152C Bulmers Summer BBQ Race Evening Beg. Sch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Warm In Gorey, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

152E Bulmers Zero (QR) H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr D. Doyle, rider of Barbaha Queen, presented to weigh out at 2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed him to ride but were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198 (vii)(a) (first offence) and they fined him €150.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr A. Burke-Ott, rider of Kadys Dirha, weighed in at 1.6 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that there was a lot of sweat on the pad and he took a small drink also. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having taken his record into account (first offence) suspended him for one race day.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cosmic Blizzard, trained by S. Curling, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

152F Bulmers Light Beginners S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the riding of Thunder, ridden by G. Brouder where it appeared that he continued on a horse with no more to give which resulted in a fall. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that this horse over raced in the early stages and doesn't relax, he was not fluent over his fences and didn't take off at the last. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found G. Brouder in breach of Rule 216 by failing to pull up a horse that has no more to give and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for five race days.

152G Clonmel Show July 7th H'cap S'chase

E. Walsh, rider of Inchidaly Copper, trained by Alexander Ott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
