R.P.Whelan replaced W.J. Lee on Timurshah, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins (Race 7)(stewards permission)

167A Irish EBF Auction Series Race

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Booklight, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from his outside after two furlongs.

167D Bingo Loco After Racing H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sara Valentina, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

167E1 BoyleSports Lengthen The Odds H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the back straight involving Cleopatra's Needle, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Dr Patrick, ridden by N.M. Crosse, and Sing A New Song, ridden by R.P. Cleary, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

167E2 BoyleSports Lengthen The Odds H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Adam Caffrey, rider of Comfort Line, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Adam Caffrey accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Adam Caffrey was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard (second offence) they suspended him for four racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.A. Powell, rider of Smaoineamh Sile (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. J.A. Powell accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found J.A. Powell was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard (second offence) they suspended him for four racedays.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of You Are The Deal, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly into stride.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged right in the dip.

The Raceday Stewards informed Luke Comer, trainer that Angel Of The Sea, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
