The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

P.C.O'Connor, trainer of Sullane Hill (Ran recently) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.B. Torrens replaced C. Brassil on Glenquin Castle, trained by Martin Brassil (Race 5)(Injured)

P.T. Enright, rider of Miracles In May trained by M.A.Cahill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake with a circuit to go.

E. Walsh, rider of Kamikaze Kid trained by Richard Anthony Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame.

214B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

H. Morgan, rider of Trouble And Strife trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount's saddle slipped and he pulled up.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Swiss Brid trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he received interference from his outer going down the back.

The Stewards enquired into two instances of possible interference after the last hurdle, the first involving Decor Irlandais (FR), ridden by Mr N. McParlan, placed first, and William Of Wykeham, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed second. The other involved Sky Marshal, ridden by C.A. Landers, placed fifth, and Moyode Gold, ridden by C.P. McNamara, placed sixth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

B. Hayes, rider of Chalky White trained by James Daniel Dullea, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keen.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the run to the final fence and on the run to the line involving Benruben, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed first and Fan De Blues (FR), ridden by P. Townend, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

The Stewards received a report from J.R. Banahan, IHRB Starter, regarding the two false starts prior to this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. Banahan who stated that the first false start was caused by riders rushing forward and proceeding to race before reaching the marker poles. The second false start was called due to one rider calling 'no, no, no' indicating that he was not ready to start. The Starter also outlined to the Stewards that the positioning of the start for this race was not ideal. Having viewed recordings of the false starts and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation and took no further action.

The Stewards looked at an incident on the run to the second last fence where a number of horses appeared to get tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

214G BoyleSports (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr N.T. Prendergast, rider of Champagne Rhythm, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Stewards received a report from Mr. Pat Brennan, HRI Covid-19 Compliance Officer, regarding the presence of two unauthorised persons on Racecourse Property prior to Race 2. Evidence was heard from Mr. Brennan and from Mr. Philip O'Brien, Racecourse Manager who confirmed that these people had now left the racecourse. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter to the CEO of the IHRB for further investigation.
