The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Bellick (GB), ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed third, Dee Sprinter, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, unplaced and Doonard Prince, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed sixth, where it appeared that Bellick rolled onto the racing line of Doonard Prince and Dee Sprinter causing them to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found Siobhan Rutledge in breach of rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly. Having considered Siobhan Rutledges record in this regard the Stewards cautioned her on this occasion.
S.T. McCullagh, rider of Dee Sprinter trained by Reginald Roberts, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Teddy Boy trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly.
213E Weatherbys GSB H'capThe Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Silver Spear, ridden by A.J. Slattery, dead heated for third, Half Nutz, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed first and Kokura (GB), ridden by D.E. Sheehy, dead heated for third, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Kokura had caused interference to Silver Spear and in doing so had improved its finishing position. The Stewards therefore amended the result of the dead heat and placed Silver Spear third and Kokura fourth. They took no further action.
Amended result now reads:
1st: Half Nutz
2nd: Lustown Baba
3rd: Silver Spear
4th: Kokura
5th: Nullifier
6th: Not Now Zeb

S. Foley, rider of Camphor trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action.
