Mr S. Connor, rider of Ambush Annie, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

191B Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from C.A. Murphy, trainer of Michal, for an additional ten minutes to present the horse for identification by an IHRB Official, as provided for under provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Arcland, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, unplaced, Churchwarden, ridden by B.W. Harvey, placed second, and Time For Tea, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.W. Flanagan stated that his mount ran green and rolled into the back end of Rachael Blackmore's mount on the point of the bend. B.W. Harvey stated that it got tight for room as his mount became unbalanced while turning the bend. Rachael Blackmore stated that her mount lost her hind end for half a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Whatsitabout (FR), trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Michal, trained by C.A.Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Kevin Prendergast, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Smiling Bess, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Harry Cleary representative for Kevin Prendergast, reported that the animal did not stay the last time out and the drop back in trip could have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards fined Mr. Prendergast €130 for failing to appoint an Authorised Representative as required under the provisions of rule 147(v).

191C Writech H'cap H'dle

Sam Ewing, rider of The Wallpark, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled early on.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Lieutenant Highway, trained by Moses McCabe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

T.P. Harney, rider of Champella, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

191D1 Larrigy's Pub H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.D. Torrens, rider of Onefortheditch, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. S.D. Torrens accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S.D. Torrens was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency)and having taking his previous record into consideration (second offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.

191D2 Larrigy's Pub H'cap H'dle

S.D. Torrens, rider of Georgie's Gal, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

E.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Stradbally Village, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and felt flat.

191E Kilbeggan Racecourse H'cap H'dle

Mr E. Mahon, rider of I Am Rocco (GB), trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

191F Kilmurray's Midlands National H'cap S'ch

P. Townend, rider of Ontheropes, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered at the third fence.

191G Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beg S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Prairie Dancer, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

B.W. Harvey, rider of No Time To Wait, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
