The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. Whearty rode Empress Alma (reserve) trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 7)
S. Foley replaced Siobhan Rutledge on Fleur De Chine (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 4)(intended mount a non runner)

148A Winton (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Quatrain, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, and Raw Ability, ridden by S. Foley, placed first, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

148B KCLR 96FM Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ranko Express, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

148C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Camelot Alexander, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J. Cleary, rider of You Owe Me Money, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J. Cleary was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (third offence), they suspended him for eight racedays.

148D Brian Dunlop Architects (C&G) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Subjugate, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't let himself down on the ground.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Subjugate, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

148E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Gowran Classic

W.J. Lee, rider of Cardinal Zin, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Star Of Atlantis, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cardinal Zin, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be injured on its left fore.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Star Of Atlantis, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

148F Lord Bagenal Inn Carlow H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Not Just Any Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, placed third, and Tomahawk King, ridden by L.F. Roche, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that she felt she was clear when she moved to the rail. L.F. Roche stated that he was slowly away from the stalls and just ran up on heels for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

L.F. Roche, rider of Tomahawk King, trained by Micky Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

148G Sonix Entertainment H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Expecto, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out of room close to the line.

D. McMonagle, rider of Newfire, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight halfway down the back straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of So Diligent (GB), trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure.

W.J. Lee, rider of Dream Ticket (FR), trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered after one furlong. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight of this race involving Bizarre Dreams, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth, and Expecto, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fifth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen stated that it got tight as the rail came out to meet them. R.P. Cleary stated his mount ran off the bend and was edging back to the rail up the straight. He further added that he was unaware of any horse up his inside as he didn't think there was room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after turning in involving Bizarre Dreams, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth, and Newfire, ridden by D. McMonagle, unplaced, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
