The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. Stone-Walsh rode Reserve Judgement (reserve) trained by Leanne Breen (Race 5).
Mr. J. Costello replaced Mr B.M. Coonan on Movie King, trained by Mrs. C. O'Leary (Race 6)(Injured)
Mr. E. Finegan replaced Mr F.R. Buckley on Gallant Getaway, trained by E.Buckley (Race 7)(Stood down).

304A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Firm Belief, trained by Rodger Sweeney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have overreached and pulled the right fore shoe.

P.T. Enright, rider of Firm Belief, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last and was pulled up.

304B Buy Your Early Bird (C&G) M'dn H'dle

J.C. Gainford, rider of Gather Yourself, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a fright at the first hurdle and jumped very big thereafter.

304D Buy Now & Save Winter Festival Mdn H'dle

O.R. Brown, rider of How About No (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount tried to run off the bend past the stands and made a mistake at the last.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J. Kearney, rider of Truly Elegant, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced for much of the race and stayed on one paced.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.A. McKenna, rider of Stay Gold, trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out on the quick ground early on and stayed on in the closing stages.

304E Winter Festival Hospitality H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.L. Walsh, rider of Bronson In Blue, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip unnecessarily and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.L. Walsh was in breach of Regulation 10. 3(b)(unnecessary use after chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone). Having taken his clean record in this regard into account, they suspended him for two racedays.

304F House Restaurant Open For All Hcap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired from C.M. Hogan rider of Mirado, who stumbled badly and unseated the rider turning into the home straight. The rider reported that his mount sustained an injury independently of any other horse and he was unseated as a result. Having considered the matter, he Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined True Destiny (GB), trained by Noel C. Kelly, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
