The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident around the bottom bend involving Due Course, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed third, and Bayou Belle, ridden by P.T. Smithers, placed fourth, where it appeared Due Course clipped a heel after running short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K.M. Donoghue stated that on the point of the bend he caught a heel with Bayou Belle in front of him. P.T. Smithers stated that he didn't move in at all and was unaware of Due Course on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Due Course, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight at the bottom bend and clipped a heel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Kings Halo trained by James Daniel Dullea was found to have a wound to his right hind having been struck into.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Donncha Duggan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Doitforjane Sid, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
