C.P. Millar, rider of Ringdufferin, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Nobody, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hit a ridge, stumbled and fell shortly after the start.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Mickie Angel, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Gavin Cromwell reported that his charge ran far too keen the last day over three miles and he settled much better today over the shorter trip. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Captain Porridge, trained by E. D. Delany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly on the ground.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Edward Cawley, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Chosen Diamond, placed first, as compared with its recent run. Edward Cawley reported that his charge needs the heavy ground he raced on today and that his horses seemed to be underachieving of late but have started to improve recently. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.
