The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Bruce Lightning, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, Iberian Queen, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, and Dandy Lichious, ridden by R. Whearty, placed first, where it appeared the three came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
048C McCandless Komatsu H'capAt the request of the Raceday Stewards, G.M. Ryan, rider of Saoirses Lulaby, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount pulled too hard and leaned right in the straight.
048D Ross Clair M'dnS.T. McCullagh, rider of Action Plan, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Spunog, trained by Thomas Cleary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check up the straight in order to get a clear run.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Al Mudhaffar, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed first, Hoover Dam, ridden by J. Kearney, placed third, and Spunog, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed sixth, where it appeared Spunog had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that he felt he was clear when his mount drifted across to the rail. J. Kearney stated that his mount was drifting across because he was having a look at the horse on his outside. R.P. Cleary stated that he was getting carried across all the way and had to check off the horses on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Kearney was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays .
048E KE Builders RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wigmore Street (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
048F Peter Fitzpatrick Leod Quarries H'capAdam Caffrey, rider of Shoot To Kill, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left up the straight.
D. McMonagle, rider of Little Keilee, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out of room going to the line. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
048G CT1 Apprentice H'capJ. Kearney, rider of Don't Look Now, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check a furlong out.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Miss Heartbreak, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check a furlong and a half down but it made no difference to his finishing position .
Adam Caffrey, rider of Designer Cailin, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Don't Look Now, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, Wonder Spirit (GB), ridden by R.M Mulligan, unplaced, Miss Heartbreak, ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, and Just Another Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that his mount was going backwards when he received a little bump. J. Kearney stated that he felt pressure from his inside and had to take a check. R.M. Mulligan stated that he got a bump from his inside. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that she felt her mount wandering but corrected it immediately and kept a straight line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R. Donaghue-Leahy was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended her for one raceday .
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Don't Look Now, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, Wonder Spirit (GB), ridden by R.M Mulligan, unplaced, Anjah, ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, and Just Another Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Kearney stated that after the original bump he kept a straight line but had to check from pressure from his inside. R.M. Mulligan stated that he got a bump from his inside. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that she received a small bump. M.W. Hassett stated that his mount was going for the gate but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.W. Hassett was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard(fifth offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 20 racedays .
048H Unitek H'capAdam Caffrey, rider of Star Harbour, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the closing stages.
