The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Thomas Cooper, trainer of Moon Orchid (transport difficulties) - €200
James M. Barrett, trainer of Next In Line (off feed) - €200
John Joseph Hanlon, trainer of Silent Star (GB) (transport difficulties) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Sheehy rode Darkdeserthighway (reserve), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan (Race 2)

W.J. Lee, rider of Musical Rue trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Ola Bonita trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

357B Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) M'dn

L.F. Roche, rider of Mambacita trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared up leaving the stalls.

At the request of the Stewards, W.M. Lordan, rider of Zen Silence, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got disunited in her stride in the home straight.

B.M. Coen, rider of St George's Head trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.

S.M. Mooney, rider of Complete Fiction trained by Sabrina J. Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Bluebeard's Castle (USA), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.

357E1 Irish Racing Industry Fundraiser M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cafe Con Leche, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

B.M. Coen, rider of Scherbatsky trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

At the request of the Stewards, J.M. Sheridan, rider of Cafe Con Leche, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to act on the racing surface.

357E2 Irish Racing Industry Fundraiser M'dn

The Stewards informed Sarah Dawson, trainer of Queen Emily (GB), that a repeat performance in the behaviour of her charge, who was withdrawn by order of the Stewards may render the animal liable to future suspension.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Belgoprince (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran keen and hung right.

357G Test Your Tipping Talents H'cap

A.J. Slattery, rider of Rebel Tale (USA) trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pulse Of Shanghai trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Orchid Gardens, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Cleary was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 6 racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pulse Of Shanghai, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.
