The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

D.J. Bunyan & G. O'Leary, trainer of Wooden Head (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.W. Hassett rode Corballis Flyer (reserve) trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 2)
L.F. Roche rode Eruption (reserve) trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 3)
S. Foley rode My Little Tip (reserve) trained by James McAuley (Race 3)

325A Irishinjuredjockeys (F) Claiming Race

S. Foley, rider of One Boss (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

325B View Restaurant Dundalk Apprentice H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Exquisite Acclaim, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung slightly left in the last furlong.

J.A. Powell, rider of Harbanaker, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Boadicea Belle, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Is That Love, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, and Harbanaker, ridden by J.A. Powell, where it appeared Harbanaker had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards fined James McAuley, trainer €65 for fitting a tongue strap to Rocky Dreams (GB) which had not been declared and ordered its removal.

325C Gateway Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

S. Foley, rider of My Little Tip, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away.

325D Christmas Party Nights Nursery H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Jack W. Davison, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Scorchio, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Jack W. Davison stated that the drop in trip combined with Scorchio having her first run on the all weather is what he attributes the apparent improvement in form to. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

325E Al Basti Pat Smullen Mercury Stakes

L.F. Roche, rider of Twilight Jet, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

325F1 Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Emphasis, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Rothstein, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Heliogabalus, ridden by S. Foley, and Centuria, ridden by D.P. McDonogh where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan said he got tight for a stride. G.F. Carroll said when the pace steadied he had to take a check. S. Foley said he gradually came across after having a look. D.P. McDonogh said his horse ran onto heels and he had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Pagan Sun (FR), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check in the last 100 yards.

B.M. Coen, rider of Chicago Fireball, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check in the straight.

C.T. Keane, rider of Soldier's Empire, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

325F2 Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Presence, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bad bump leaving the stalls.

325G Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk M'dn

J.A. Heffernan, rider of All Time Great (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up.
