At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S. Fitzgerald, rider of Aleish Lass, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well down the hill on the final circuit but tired quickly after jumping the last hurdle on the up hill run to the line.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.T. Enright, rider of Pebble Bleu, trained by Colin Motherway, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very keen early on, settled thereafter and stayed on one paced in the closing stages.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Brianna Lily, trained by Patrick T. Foley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Reed (FR), trained by W.J. Burke, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Go Gill Go, trained by James Grace, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hurricane Georgie, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Hurricane Georgie, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Rebel Early, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't jump with any fluency.

Owing to the trajectory of the Sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence number one and fence number two to be omitted from this race.
