363D Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'capThe Raceday Stewards informed Stephen Thorne, trainer that Harry's Bar (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
363E Dundalk Stadium Gift Vouchers H'capThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr P.L. Malone, that D.J. Power, rider of Jet Times, had presented himself to weigh out at 3lbs overweight in addition to the declared 2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D.J. Power stated when he doesn't eat he doesn't perform to the best of his ability and feels very weak. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the overweight on this occasion. Furthermore, they were satisfied that D.J. Power was in breach of Rule 198(vii)(a) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they fined him €150 on this occasion. D.J. Power was accompanied by Ms. C. Power at this enquiry.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lost Soul, trained by Kevin Prendergast, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
363F Now Racing Every Wednesday M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bowmore, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be suffering from delayed recovery post race.
363G Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk H'capJ.J.G. Ryan, rider of Glyde Ranger, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
