The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane replaced Adam Caffrey on Dark Ace, trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 7)(stood down)
W.M. Lordan replaced Adam Caffrey on Dontspoilasale, trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 8)(stood down)

052A Happy St Patrick's Weekend H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the starting stalls involving Sam's Xpress, ridden by P.A. Harnett, and Hezahunk, ridden by P. McGettigan, where it appeared Sam's Xpress shifted left and made contact with Hezahunk. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

052C View Restaurant At Dundalk H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Metamorpheus, trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was squeezed for room two furlongs out. Having viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and hung right in the last two furlongs.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Hope And Innocence, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keen and hung badly right.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Sean Davis, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Porsche Lad, placed first, compared with its previous form. As Sean Davis was not in attendance, Alan Purcell, on behalf of the trainer, reported that Porsche Lad was given a lengthy break following his last run and felt that the winner has strengthened up a lot over the winter. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted its content. Furthermore the Raceday Stewards imposed a fine of €130 on trainer, Sean Davis in that he had failed to nominate an Authorised Representative for todays meeting as required under the provisions of Rule 147(v).

052E William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Seti, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr. C. J. Sweeney did not act as a Raceday Steward in races 5, 6, 7 and 8 and was replaced by Stipendiary Steward Mr. P. Deegan.
