Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays: Race 1 + 1 minute.

The Stewards interviewed Anthony McCann, trainer of Red Cymbal(GB) and Smart Stinger, non runners in races one and seven owing to transport difficulties, and where the trainer had runners in races six and eight. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that he had left his yard with two lorries at 14:45 and shortly afterwards encountered difficulties with the lorry carrying Red Cymbal and Smart Stinger. Despite his best efforts and with mechanical assistance he was unable to get the vehicle started again or the horses off the vehicle. Having considered the evidence the Stewards, while sympathising with the situation that Mr. McCann found himself in were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 194(e) and fined him €200 in respect of each non runner. Furthermore the stewards suspended Red Cymbal and Smart Stinger from running for two days.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Super Julius (GB), trained by S. Donohoe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Orr, unplaced and Saga Bolton, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, where it appeared that O.J. Orr's mount ran onto heels and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
