N.M. Crosse, rider of Babyface, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early on.
Adam Caffrey, rider of I'm Spartacus, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Senado Square (GB), ridden by S. Coen, placed sixth, and My Girl Sioux, ridden by J.S. Dalton, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Coen stated that it got a little tight for room and he took a precautionary check. J.S. Dalton stated that his mount hung right up the straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.S. Dalton, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carlessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, trainer of Irish Rumour, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge pulled a left hind shoe in running.
350B View Restaurant Median Auction M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Georg Zhukov, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined I Am Me, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right hind shoe but to be otherwise post race normal.
W. Joyce, rider of Glasheen Girl, trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.
350C DKITSU Race Day At Dundalk H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blanc De Noir, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Stephen Thorne, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Shoot To Kill, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer stated that on his last run his charge was drawn wide and the race was not run to suit as he was caught wide the whole way. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
350D Irishinjuredjockeys.com Claiming RaceR. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Top Of The Pops (GB), trained by J.G. Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stood in the starting stalls.
350F1 Now Racing Every Wednesday Dundalk H'capR. Whearty, rider of Lord Talbot, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right down the back straight.
350F2 Now Racing Every Wednesday Dundalk H'capJ.J.G. Ryan, rider of Trishuli River, trained by Shane Crawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered severe interference at the first bend.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Shane Crawley, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Trishuli River, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Shane Crawley reported that the return to a sounder surface may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the contents of the report.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend involving Numidia, ridden by W. Joyce, placed second, Trishuli River, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed first, Brackloon Bay, ridden by M.W Hassett, unplaced, and Lady Montse, ridden by R.M Mulligan, unplaced, where it appeared they got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that his mount received pressure from his outside, W. Joyce stated that he received pressure from his outside, R.M. Mulligan stated that his mount leaned away from the horse on his outside and M.W. Hassett stated that his mount was very keen and he thought he was clear rounding the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
